Sara is a recovering policy wonk, mom, animal lover, sunscreen junkie, criminal justice reform enthusiast, and owner of Beechwood Consulting Firm. California-raised, Sara is a New England transplant who complains of the cold all winter and the humidity all summer. When she's not busy working, scrolling the 'gram, or wordsmith-ing, you'll find her singing Frozen's "Let it Go" for her toddlers or at the beach, cooler fully stocked, under an umbrella.
Sara left a successful career in public policy after the birth of her first child in 2018, and hasn't looked back! She is passionate about lending her strategic talent to support local businesses.
Sara earned her BA in Government/Writing from St. Lawrence University, and a MS in Urban Policy Analysis and Management from the New School in New York City. She lives in Cohasset, Massachusetts with her husband, two young daughters, and rescue animals.
Sara's work product have contributed to the following organizations: The Pew Charitable Trusts and John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, the Massachusetts Trial Court, Center for Court Innovation, National Lawyers Guild, Sanctuary for Families, NYC Department of Probation, and the Marin/San Francisco YMCA.
